Cultivar epithet:  'Choconiana'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia psittacorum

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 4 to 6 distichous bracts, orange with pale green on outer tip of basal bract; rachis orange; sepals orange with distal dark green or black band and yellow-white tip; ovary bright orange distally and pale orange below; pedicel orange. Vegetation musoid. Height 0.3 to 2.4 m (1 to 8 feet).
