Cultivar epithet:  'Striata'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia indica

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 4 to 7 distichous bracts, green with white longitudinal markings, some yellow at base; rachis green; sepals green; ovary orange; pedicel yellow-green. Vegetation musoid; leaf blades and petioles with white or yellow lateral striation above and below. Height 1.5 to 4.6 m (5 to 15 feet).
