Cultivar epithet:  'Fire Flash'

Species/hybrid:  Heliconia densiflora

Description:  Erect inflorescence; 4 to 5 distichous bracts, red or red-orange with yellow-gold at base and proximal lip; rachis red, changing to yellow-gold on upper bracts; sepals orange distally,
shading to light yellow proximally, tip greenish; ovary orange on distal half and yellow proximally, with distal green spot on older ovaries; pedicel yellow. Vegetation musoid. Height 0.5 to 1.5 m (1.5 to 5 feet).
